For the past three years, I’ve been a committed volunteer at the Friendship Circle, a local organization that provides learning opportunities to kids with special needs that live in and around Livingston. Every week, I spend a few hours after school paired with a child, painting, playing soccer, swinging on the playground, all the while learning how to adapt to the real world in the inclusive environment of LifeTown.
